Description
Contains 0.75% metronidazole, which is an established antibacterial agent. It is effective against a variety of organisms including anaerobic bacteria, which are responsible for the distressing symptoms of malodorous wounds. Anabact is the only Metronidazole Gel indicated for the deodorisation of malodorous gravitational ulcers, decubitus ulcers and fungating tumours.
Indications
The deodorisation of malodorous fungating tumours, gravitational ulcers, and decubitus ulcers.
Contraindications
Sensitivity to metronidazole, Bronopol, hydroxybenzoic acid esters, hydroxyethylcellulose, phosphoric acid or propylene glycol.
