AproDerm Barrier Cream

Formulated with a dual silicone barrier system consisting of dimethicone and trimethylsiloxysilicate (4%), AproDerm Barrier Cream provides a transparent, long-lasting and breathable protective layer which prevents bodily fluids and irritants from touching the skin thus protecting it from further damage and breakdown, whilst aiding healing. This non-sting barrier cream moisturises and conditions the skin whilst maintaining its pH to help restore skin integrity. Suitable for use on intact and damaged skin as well as with incontinence pads and adhesive dressings, AproDerm Barrier Cream goes on transparent so you can see the underlying skin healing. This gentle, non-greasy cream resists wash off and can be used to prevent and protect skin damage caused by incontinence, wound exudate, shearing, irritation due to adhesives and leakage at stoma sites as well as nappy rash. Suitable from birth and free from SLS, parabens, metals, alcohol, fragrances and colours, AproDerm Barrier Cream is scientifically formulated to maximise skin coverage so a 1p size amount covers an area of 100cm squared. AproDerm Barrier Spray

AproDerm Barrier Spray forms a breathable, transparent, layer on the skin providing protection from Moisture-Associated Skin Damage, preventing further skin damage and breakdown whilst aiding healing. Its bag-on-valve spray technology allows a touch-free application from any angle, which is ideal for sore skin and difficult to reach areas. Suitable from birth, this non-sting formulation is alcohol-free, SLS free, parabens free and latex-free. AproDerm Barrier Spray dries in seconds to protect intact, damaged or inflamed skin against irritation and moisture damage associated with incontinence, stoma, wounds, adhesives and shearing, whilst providing an ideal surface for dressing or pouch adhesion. Clinifilm Barrier Cream

Clinifilm Barrier Cream is formulated to be a skin neutral, pH balanced, concentrated cream, providing a long-lasting, no-sting barrier from bodily fluids, to intact and mildly damaged skin. Its non-greasy finish is formulated with patient comfort in mind. Use of this latex and fragrance-free cream allows adhesive products to effectively adhere to the skin and will not block incontinence pads.

Conotrane

Water-repellent, antiseptic barrier cream containing 22% dimeticone and 0.1% benzalkonium chloride. Active against bacteria and yeasts.

Derma Protective Plus

Fragrance-free, non-greasy, viscous skin protectant containing dimethicone. Protects against moisture-associated skin damage related to incontinence.

Drapolene

Drapolene contains benzalkonium chloride and cetrimide, which are both quaternary ammonium disinfectants with properties that are typical of cationic surfactants. This preparation is useful in the treatment and prevention of nappy rash. It suppresses the development of ammonia-producing organisms usually associated with this condition

Medihoney Barrier Cream

Barrier cream containing active Medihoney antibacterial honey. Helps to reduce inflammation, prevent maceration, excoriation and irritation resulting from effects of incontinence and diarrhoea. Can be applied to injured skin, peri-wound areas, pressure areas and skin folds. Moisturisers and protects dry skin.

Metanium

Metanium nappy rash ointment soothes nappy rash and relieves irritation and redness. It contains Titanium Dioxide 20% w/w, Titanium Peroxide 5% w/w, Titanium Salicylate 3% w/w, and Dimethicone 350, light liquid paraffin, tincture of benzoin and white soft paraffin.

Siopel

A water-repellent barrier cream with antiseptic properties. It contains cetrimide 0.3% w/w, an effective antiseptic used for wound cleansing. It also contains Dimeticone 1000 10 % w/w, which binds firmly to the skin surface and forms a protective barrier. The cream also contains arachis (peanut) oil.

Sorbaderm Barrier Cream

White concentrated cream that provides the skin with protection from body fluids. Also protects dry, chafed, red or irritated skin by moisturising the skin and providing a long-lasting barrier. Use still allows adhesive products to stick to the skin.

Sorbaderm No-Sting Barrier Film

Polymeric solution that forms a uniform film when applied to the skin. Dispersed in a non-stinging solvent, which dries rapidly. Colourless, transparent and possesses good oxygen and moisture vapour permeability. Helps to protect intact or damaged skin from irritation caused by urine and/or faecal incontinence, digestive juices and wound drainage.

Sudocrem Antiseptic Healing Cream

Sudocrem Antiseptic Healing Cream contains Zinc oxide, benzyl alcohol, benzyl benzoate, benzyl cinnamate, lanolin (hypoallergenic), and sodium benzoate.
