Dermalo Bath Emollient

Dermalo Bath Emollient contains 65% liquid paraffin and 5% acetylated wool alcohols, which have moisturising and skin-softening properties. It is specially formulated to facilitate dispersion in bath water and for ease of application after a shower

DermaSilk Therapeutic Clothing

DermaSilk are itch-reducing garments and tubular sleeve that are designed to treat pruritus and irritation caused by eczema, dry skin and dermatitis in adults and children, plus chemo and radiotherapy induced conditions and certain gynaecological conditions such as lichen sclerosus, lichen simplex chronicus and recurrent thrush. They are made from a unique combination of medical grade, fibroin silk, protected by a non-migrating antimicrobial that cannot be removed from the fabric. DermaSilk is designed to be worn as a long-term prophylactic and is not intended for wet or dry wrapping. Only a light amount of non-greasy emollient is required under it. The garments can be used in the presence of infection as they are not occlusive and have been tailored to ensure that they will last for as long as they fit the patient

Available in clear silicone gel sheets or fabric-backed silicone gel sheets

Dermax Therapeutic Shampoo

Dermax Therapeutic Shampoo contains benzalkonium chloride, which is adsorbed on to dry skin scales, these being a feature of pityriasis capitis and other seborrhoeic scalp conditions. The scales are loosened and attain a net positive charge. In the presence of the anionic foaming agent, sodium lauryl ether sulphate, the dandruff scales are then levitated into the negatively charged surface of the foam and washed from the hair. Benzalkonium chloride also acts as a mild antiseptic, which improves clinical performance when the condition is exacerbated by the presence of microbes. The major site of action against microorganisms appears to be the cell membrane, where permeability is altered

DermLite Carbon

The DermLite Carbon provides instant toggle control over lesion visualisation, from the superficial structures to deeper pigmentation, by activating two groups of LEDs, each with distinct polarisation. The first group of 8 LEDs produces cross-polarised light ideal for visualising deep structures, whereas the second set of 8 LEDs is linearly polarised, creating a clear rendition of the skin surface.

DermLite DL1 Basic

Oil-free dermoscopy, incorporating eight bright-white LEDs, 10x magnification and advanced cross-polarisation, to aid the early detection of melanoma by enhancing visualisation of pigmented skin lesions.

DermLite DL200 HR

With an ergonomic, easy-to-clean stainless steel body, the DL200 HR adopts the optical system from the DL2 Pro HR and integrates an innovative, super-quick, retractable spacer mechanism with precise focusing. It also offers IceCap (infection control caps) compatibility, an increased battery life and integrated MagnetiConnect smartphone connectivity. The HR model benefits from ultra-bright, all-polarised illumination.

DermLite DL200 Hybrid

With an ergonomic, easy-to-clean stainless steel body, the DL200 Hybrid adopts the optical system from the DL2 Hybrid and integrates an innovative, super-quick, retractable spacer mechanism with precise focusing. It also offers IceCap (infection control caps) compatibility, an increased battery life and integrated MagnetiConnect smartphone connectivity. The DL200 Hybrid also combines polarised and non-polarised lighting to allow visualisation of pigment and vascular structures with or without immersion fluids.

DermLite DL3N

The DermLite DL3N contains refined optics and improved visualization of both pigmented and vascular structures. Precision-engineered and crafted from recyclable aluminum, it features a 25 mm four-element lens, 28 high-powered LEDs and PigmentBoost illumination. For optimum ease of use, a quick tap on its power button instantly toggles between polarization modes, while the optional PigmentBoost mode produces a warmer illumination reminiscent of conventional dermatoscopes.
